GLASS HUMAN HEART SCULPTURE

The human heart is remarkable enough on its own, but this Hand-Blown Glass Anatomical Heart turns it into an extraordinary piece of art. Created by glass artists Alyssa Getz and Tommy Cudmore of Tropical Iceberg Glass, each heart is individually handmade from hot, recycled glass.

To create the intricate anatomical details, the artists hand-pull colorful glass cane through the molten glass, forming vibrant interpretations of the heart’s veins and arteries. Brilliant shades of blue, turquoise, purple, pink, green and other colors twist through the clear glass, giving the sculpture incredible depth and a distinctly surrealist quality.
