A little off-balance by design, the Tipsy Cup Crystal with Silver Rim brings sculptural glass artistry to the table. Each hand-blown glass rests on an organic, thorn-like base inspired by forms found in nature, creating a playful tilted stance while remaining functional for sipping.
As light passes through the sculpted base, the clear glass bends and refracts it in different directions, giving each cup a lively, dimensional look. Finished with a sleek silver rim, the design feels both artistic and refined.
Perfect for cocktails, whiskey, wine, or whatever you happen to be pouring, these glasses are natural conversation pieces for entertaining, gifting, or simply enjoying something beautifully made.
Because each cup is handmade, slight variations in shape, tilt, and form are part of its character.
The Tipsy Cup is handmade by Andrew Madvin, founder and artist of Axiom Glass. Born near Detroit in 1977, Madvin began his creative career in metals and jewelry before studying sculpture at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. After discovering glass, he continued his studies at California College of the Arts and attended Pilchuck Glass School on scholarship.
In 2000, he founded Axiom Glass Studio in Detroit, where he continues to create original glasswork ranging from functional pieces to limited-edition sculpture and custom installations.
